Since its establishment in 1997, Toong Mao Resorts & Hotels, under the leadership of the general manager, Shih Jui-feng, has formed a professional operation management team, an enterprise service team and a project team. The business service headquarter is responsible for the supervision of onsite operations and the integration of various chain hotels, thereby combining the hotels’ resources to achieve overall effectiveness. The resources include human resource, marketing plans, construction procurement, administrative affairs, financial management and other items. Through developing and controlling the various marketing channels and building sustainable cooperation with our partner vendors, Toong Mao has introduced concepts and methods of standardized modules to truly duplicate and build a standardized model for implementation.
Toong Mao Resorts & Hotels at this stage has already developed two leading brands, the “Toong Mao brand” and the ‘CU brand,’ and a service system. The ‘Toong Mao brand’ mainly serves in the resort type of tourist hotels and is facilitated and promoted by the service branches in the north, central and southern areas. This is so that there may be group bookings on regular days and non-peak seasons to balance the contrast in peak seasons and maintain a high level of occupancy for the hotels. Currently under this brand, there are altogether six hotels including the Toong Mao Hot Spring Hotel in Taitung, Ken-ting Toong Mao Kao-shang-ching Hotel in Pingtung, Kaohsiung Toong Mao Resort Hotel, Guan-Zih-Ling Toong Mao Spa Resort in Tainan County, and Wei-Yat Toong Mao Grand Hotel in Tainan City. The “CU brand” was established in 2006. It introduces mainly the business-type of hotels and makes a good use of the changes in colors to emphasize a visual impact that would create and form a contemporary metropolitan demeanor. Currently, the Kaohsiung CU Hotel is under this brand.
All along, the Toong Mao Resorts & Hotels has taken one step at a time to solidly and stably grow towards maturity and the objective of sustainable management. It strives to present a professional and excellent enterprise image. By accurately mastering the market pulses; building a franchise brand, good public praise, reputation, popularity, a resource-sharing mechanism amongst the hotels and combined marketing effects; and proactively training and making full use of its human resource, Toong Mao emphasizes “putting action” into the service and reception of on-site hotel operations, seeking to create an outcome of “low cost and great benefit.” The operational items and their contents are outlined below.
