The dome hall of Formosa Boulevard Station, the intersection of the Red and Orange Lines of the Kaohsiung MRT, combines various glass art classics and production techniques to create the world's largest one-piece glass public art work "The Dome of Light". The dome's creation theme is divided into four major blocks. The "Heart of Love River" combines water and land tourism, flood detention ponds and ecological restoration. It is located in the middle and upper reaches of the Love River on Bo'ai 1st Road and Tongmeng 1st Road in Kaohsiung City. The Heart of Love River is composed of East Lake and West Lake. Dadong Culture and Art Center was originally the current site of Dadong Elementary School and is a multi-functional cultural park. The architectural design emphasizes natural elements, using semi-outdoor transparent film to create a hot air balloon-like shape, thereby bringing in natural wind from above. The walls are made of exposed concrete and glass, presented through geometric shapes. Every time the sun sets, all kinds of LED lights will light up on the ceiling, under the chairs, and on the walls. The white hot air balloon art shapes are also dyed with colorful lights at night, splendidly lighting up the entire Dadong Art and Culture Center. Different from the artistic and cultural atmosphere during the day, this place has become a unique outdoor leisure space.
